Good Idea, Bad Idea (Very Bad Idea)“Rangiku, please, leave it alone,” Hisagi sighed, as he, Matsumoto, Kira and Katrina were spending their night hanging out at their usual tavern.
“But imagine the money that one picture....one scandalous picture can bring!” Matsumoto argued, already tipsy from the Sake.
“They won’t let you inside 12th Company’s Barracks,” Kira said. “They know you’re the paparazzi of Soul Society. Everyone does.”
“Well, then if I can’t go in, then perhaps I can ask...” she stopped as she turned to Katrina, the latter of whom was looking at the tea leaves at the bottom of he
Memories (100 Theme Challenge)Katrina curled up against Kira as they both sat under their usual spot behind 13th company's barracks. For all of her insistence that anniversary dates didn't matter to her, he knew it was a lie. Today was the third anniversary that she was brought to Soul Society. A dark occasion, since it also marked the anniversary of her death during her previous life. Kira knew that Katrina wouldn't be able to let that go so easily, if at all. Smile (100 Theme Challenge)I smiled. It’s not that I had anything to be happy about, but it was to hide who I truly was from everyone else. It was my mask, if you will.
Even when I was little, growing up in the Rukongai, I smiled. Life was hard, food was scarce and I was always so hungry. I had to steal food to survive.
And then I met her. She was semi-conscious at the time, badly dehydrated and starved. She was like me. Something about her really connected. I gave her some of the persimmons I had and that’s how we started our friendship. Only when I was with her was my smile ever real.
Years later when I had to betray her, the smile became my mask again. How could I tell her that was I was doing was really to protect her? It would make her cry and I vowed never to let anything or anyone make her cry.
I should’ve ended his scheme before we left Soul Socie
