Mortal Kombat OC: Shan Fa

Shan Fa is my very first OC character that I created for Mortal Kombat fan fics back in 1998--99. Her original design was a white gi when she was mortal and a variation of the Lin Kuei outfit when she was elevated to godhood. Don't ask. It was long, convoluted and I don't want to bring it up. It was dumb writing

However, I am in the process of revising the whole Chosen One storyline to be more believable within the context of Mortal Kombat.

Shan Fa was left to die as an infant. It was more to do with her brilliant blue eyes than that she was a female. Skipping ahead, after her adoptive parents passed away she went to live and train with the Shaolin. All is swell and good until Shao Kahn began his invasion to take over the Earth Realm.

More will be revealed in the fic, whenever I revise it enough to my liking.

As you can see from the image, the stormy skies indicate that the invaders are about to jump out from the portal. The only thing that I've maintained with Shan Fa, other than her blue eyes is the long braid. I had attempted to give her a different hairstyle but it didn't work so well.
